Alta Sierra

The community of Alta Sierra is located off Highway 49, between 14-16 miles (depending on the entrance) from I80.  Elevation is 2,000 feet and will occasionally experience a “dusting” of snow. There has been more snow in Alta Sierra in the past, however, it is a rarity to get more than a dusting.  The climate is quite mild and one with the beauty of all the seasons.

Alta Sierra is a non-gated subdivision.  The community is quite nice, offering rolling hills that are beautifully forested.  Alta Sierra offers a  driving range, golf course, clubhouse, restaurant, and a community pool.  Currently homeowners dues are optional in Alta Sierra.
